CVC® SILCOM-124
Overview
CVC® SILCOM-124 is a high-performance, multifunctional non-melt silicone compound designed to deliver outstanding performance in demanding applications. Known for its superior heat stability, it remains effective up to 250°C, making it ideal for high-temperature environments. This versatile compound is highly resistant to chemicals and is specifically formulated as a stopcock grease and lubricant for synthetic rubber O-rings, seals, and gaskets, ensuring smooth and reliable operation of components.
CVC® SILCOM-124 also serves as an excellent mold release agent, particularly for reactive polymers such as epoxy and polyurethane compounds, as well as engineering plastics like Styrene-based materials (ABS, HIPS), nylons, and polyesters. Its water-repellent and airtight sealing properties make it perfect for use in air control valves and pneumatic systems. Additionally, it functions as a heat-stable, dielectric water-repellent sealant, offering exceptional protection for electrical systems in harsh conditions.
